About the Role
Ready to shape student-centered services at a leading Australian university? As our Product Manager, Recognition of Capabilities, you’ll be leading the discovery, and helping craft the vision, for the implementation of a new approach to recognising credit and prior learning, to realise the visionary goals in our new strategic plan, Ad Astra. We’re looking to recognise microskills and competencies that have been built through real world experience, to ensure our learners only undertake the learning they need to succeed. And your role will be pivotal to this.
You’ll drive change management, facilitate stakeholder workshops, build compelling business cases, reshape policy, and coordinate a planned program of enhancements that change the way we think about credit. Collaborating closely with IT, vendors and business stakeholders, you’ll champion a robust quality assurance framework, manage risks proactively, and turn insights into sustainable outcomes.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated experience in the development and application of new frameworks and programs of work, including associated change management.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects, develop and implement quality assurance and contribute to strategic planning.
- A demonstrated ability to investigate and make informed decisions regarding complex issues.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective stakeholder management of, and advice to staff, students, and internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
