Across our nation, it is our leaders – in business, community, military and government – who set the tone for how our society operates and the values we live by.

By engaging in deep interrogation of more than 2000 years of philosophy and contemporary critical thinking to hone participants critical reasoning and ethical thinking, we help high-level decision-makers better reflect and see the bigger picture of the issues they, and we as a nation, face.

Established in 1993 by the Myer Foundation, the Cranlana Programme – as it was called then - was created to promote informed discussion about responsible and ethical leadership.

Over the past 30 years thousands of Australian leaders have experienced Cranlana’s distinctive approach to leadership development across our many programs, including the centre-piece Executive Colloquium and more recently the Vincent Fairfax Fellowship.

Our programs are designed to challenge, inspire and foster critical thinking required to lead in today’s uncertain times. CCEL promotes the development of ethical leadership through a distinct method of shared enquiry in small groups, led by expert moderators.
