The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Faculty of Engineering in the role of an Educational Designer, playing a crucial role in providing integrated education design and education innovation.
You will work closely with the broader team of educational design professionals to provide support, advice and innovation to staff across the Faculty. As the successful appointee, you will have primary responsibilities in the design, procurement, introduction and adoption of educational technology into the Faculty, as well as supporting assessment and curriculum design.
The successful candidate in this role will have a postgraduate qualification, or progress towards a postgraduate qualification with extensive experience and expertise in areas relevant to the area, including, but not limited to:
- Designing learning, teaching, and assessment using educational technologies
- Collecting and interpreting data to inform the project management process
- Delivering staff training on innovative teaching approaches and technologies
- Managing change and stakeholder engagement
