A young university with a bold vision
The University of Canberra challenges the status quo by always pursuing better ways to teach, learn, research and add value. We are anchored in Australia’s national capital working with government, business and industry to serve our communities and our nation.
Our purpose is to provide education that offers high quality transformative experiences that make a difference to the lives of our community; to engage in research that makes an early and important difference to the world around us; and to contribute to the building of just, prosperous, healthy and sustainable communities.
We are now seeking an exceptional person to join us as our new Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education).
The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) will support the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) by ensuring that the University of Canberra integrates digital and campus-based delivery which provides a quality and innovative educational experience for our students.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) will provide leadership and strategic direction for the development and improvement of the student learning experience and outcomes, whilst supporting our faculties in course design and delivery models, the management of course quality and academic staff professional development.
The portfolio is also responsible for leading the educational components of a university-wide digital transformation programme and will play an active role in designing and implementing this program.
The successful candidate will actively support innovation in learning and teaching practice and advance a culture of excellence.
