Take your research project to the next level
Applications are now open for the 2025 Queensland Memory Awards, State Library’s next round of research opportunities.
Recipients will share in $145,000 and have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in State Library’s vast collections.
Each successful applicant will receive:
- A stipend of up to $25,000.
- A personal workspace for 12 months within the Neil Roberts Research Lounge at State Library in Brisbane.
- Premium access to State Library’s extensive collections and library staff expertise.
Applications are welcome from researchers across Australia. This opportunity is not limited to academics; we are looking for creative projects of all types with a focus on Queensland's history.
Topics range from general history to First Nations, music, business and economics, LGBTIQA+ histories, built history, collections data and AI, and The Ekka.
