We are now seeking a new Director, Strategic Events who will provide strategic leadership and professional expertise in the planning, production and delivery of high quality, high profile public and internal events within the Centre For Ideas and across the broader UNSW academic community.

As we grapple with questions surrounding climate change, technological disruption and global politics, or exploring the questions we haven’t asked, the futures we can avoid and the realities we are yet to consider, the Director, Strategic Events will play a pivotal role in creating a platform which champions courageous public conversations and a commitment to the sharing of knowledge which is accessible to all.

The successful candidate will be a visionary ideas curator with festival / events programming experience along with demonstrable business and commercial acumen. This role requires a creative thinker who brings an understanding of global trends and issues along with the gravitas and highly respected personal reputation to host prestigious speakers and distinguished guests at UNSW.
