The University of Melbourne is seeking a Digital Learning Support Officer with strong technical and pedagogical skills and experience with supporting digital technologies in learning, teaching and assessment practices

Learning Environments is the central teaching and learning support group enabling the University’s scholarly and learning community to enrich and extend academic achievement through the effective use of world-class learning environments, technologies and media.
About the role
As the Digital Learning Support Officer, you will have strong technical and pedagogical skills and experience with supporting digital technologies in learning, teaching and assessment practices. You will also have excellent skills in a Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning technologies as well as practical experience in how best to deploy Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) in an educational context. Your role will include consulting on TEL with a strong understanding of pedagogical considerations.
About you
You will have:
- An appropriate qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Practical experience of designing educational materials and communications to build capability in utilising technology
- Practical experience in providing technical and/or pedagogical support for TEL platforms or other software platforms
- Demonstrated expertise in the delivery of training and professional development workshops and consultations
