The Role

  • Continuing, Full Time
  • AU$96,178 to AU$155,962 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

We are currently seeking applications from an experienced Small Animal Surgeon and/ or educator to join a dynamic team focused on the delivery of excellence in teaching and in the provision of referral level surgical services. This position would ideally suit a veterinarian with specialist qualifications and surgical residency training, or individuals who can demonstrate advanced surgical and clinical skills with relevant teaching experience. The successful candidate may be appointed to either a teaching professional or a teaching research work function with an expectation to commence in February 2020 or by negotiation.

To be successful you will have:

  • A relevant qualification or equivalent experience, accreditation and standing appropriate at the level being applied for
  • Eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW
  • Evidence of the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching
  • Ability to provide leadership in the discipline in the scholarship of teaching and/or research and/or professional activity.
