The Executive Assistant to the Director, Centre of Stem Cell Systems (CSCS) provides administrative support to the Director and the Centre members. The position reports directly to the Director and works closely with the administrative team of the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience and the School more broadly.
The CSCS is a networking initiative to develop excellence and impact in stem cell biology, tissue engineering, and research into the ethical, legal and social implications of emerging stem cell medicine and technologies. This diverse and challenging role involves a range of duties and will require excellent interpersonal communication, organisational and time management skills. The incumbent will use their comprehensive administrative skills and knowledge to organise and coordinate the activities of the Director within the Department, Faculty, University, and with external bodies. This position is a point of integration in the distribution and flow of information between the Centre and the Department of Anatomy & Neuroscience.
