The Faculty of Arts Human Resources Unit (Arts HR) is responsible for facilitating HR programs and functions throughout the Faculty. Arts HR seeks to support operations and the achievement of Faculty strategic objectives through the provision of high-quality HR business support services and HR business partnering. Arts HR aims to encourage performance excellence, facilitate the creation of a safe, efficient and productive workplace and in partnership with other key portfolios and University shared services teams, seek to drive innovative HR programs and services.
About the role
Working as part of a collaborative team, the HR Business Partner is responsible for providing quality human resource management advice and solutions for the Faculty of Arts. The HR Business Partner supports the Faculty's goals and values and is a trusted adviser to leaders on all aspects of people management. They provide expert and specialised advice on HR policies and processes and will ensure excellence in HR service delivery. The HR Business Partner designs and delivers programs and initiatives to build capability, engagement and wellbeing.
You will have experience as an HR business partner, providing expert advice and guidance on a range of HR issues and the ability to work in a complex, ambiguous and changing environment as well as demonstrating that you are committed to the values and behaviours that are important to the Faculty, in particular: trust and mutual respect, openness and transparency, courage and creativity, generosity and humility, rigour and integrity and diversity and inclusion.
