Salary package: ANU Officer 8: $99,612 - $106,517 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The ANU Software Innovation Institute is seeking an exceptional Executive Officer to provide high level executive support, analysis and advice to the executive team of the Institute.
This role is set within the Software Innovation Institute (“the Institute”) in the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science. The position is for a fixed term 2-year appointment with possible extension contingent upon progress and funding. The Executive Officer provides high level executive support, governance and strategic analysis, playing a key role in the successful achievement of the strategic and operational activities of the Institute. The appointee is accountable to the Institute Chief Operations Officer.
The Software Innovation Institute is bringing together an expert team of researchers, engineers and students from a range of disciplinary and professional backgrounds to address government and industry challenges at scale. The Institute builds complex software engineering solutions for clients by developing and translating new research techniques in machine learning, data science and computer science to solve previously unsolved problems. By 2022, the Institute aims to have established a world leading work-integrated software engineering teaching program, enabling clients of the Institute to receive both ANU research expertise and access to an advanced capability pipeline of graduates.
