Development Officer (Engineering)

As a member of the University's STEM Advancement Division, the Development Officer will play a critical role in supporting the Melbourne School of Engineering's (MSE) fundraising goals. Reporting to the MSE Development Manager, and working closely with the School's Associate Director of Advancement, and the Alumni Relations Coordinator, the incumbent will have five major areas of responsibility: 1) Actively manage a portfolio of prospective and current donors capable of making gifts up to $100,000 (approximately 50% of role) 2) Support donor communications and donor events (approximately 20% of role) 3) Act as the School's point person for regular giving to improve retention and acquisition of donors (approximately 10% of role) 4) Support the School's Trusts and Foundations grant applications (approximately 10% of role) 5) Act as Advancement's liaison with the School's Scholarships and Bursaries team to facilitate gift implementation of scholarships and awards (approximately 10% of role)
