Research Assistant In Clinical Neuropsychiatry

The Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre (MNC) is undertaking leading clinical research in psychiatric disorders with emphasis on longitudinal studies investigating trajectories of illness course and outcome.

The successful applicant will form part of a dynamic group of researchers assigned to recruitment and assessment of study participants for a NHMRC funded study investigating the immune system in psychosis. The appointee will be required to display self-initiative and work productively within the research team using established research protocols. The appointee will be expected to have research experience within a clinical setting and be able to manage research files and databases competently and independently. The appointee will be predominantly based at the Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre at the University of Melbourne. Travel to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Royal Children's Hospital and Mid-West Clinical Centres will also be required.
