The Faculty of Fine Arts and Music at the University of Melbourne is home to the Victorian College of the Arts and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Long recognised as one of the leading providers of fine arts and music education in Australia, the Faculty has an ambitious plan to grow its global profile. 2019 marks an exciting and significant moment for the Faculty, with the opening of its new and refreshed Southbank Campus.

The Role

The Research Coordinator will play a critical part in coordinating the research-related activities in the Faculty's research office and has overall responsibility for delivering high-level advice and support services to the Faculty's researchers. This role also provides high level expert support and analysis for the Manager, Research & Industry in developing the research management systems and processes to support the research portfolio of the Faculty.

You will have a degree or combination of relevant professional experience and education/training, advanced organisation skills, high level of interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to excellent client services and experience dealing with a diverse range of client services and stakeholders.


Based in the beautiful Southbank Campus of The University of Melbourne, you will work nestled amongst Melbourne's major arts and cultural organisations and venues. You will have the convenience of great transport links to the rest of the city with the serenity of the Botanical Gardens close by.
