About The Role
within the School and University. You will undertake high quality research and will be expected to foster engagement links with external networks nationally and internationally and supervise higher degree by research students. You will also take on administrative tasks associated with the appointment and will work closely with the Creative Agency research lab, as it supports the work of the Urban School and its innovation agenda.
You will have a significant research and publication track record, in high quality outlets, preferably related to creativity and areas of innovation such as school change, inclusion, school innovation, STEM, STEAM and/or educational leadership. You will also demonstrate success in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, preferably in areas related to creativity across the curriculum, creative ecologies, 21st century skills, or creative education environments. Success in competitive research funding and translation with the ability to build and develop collaborative research teams, preferably in projects that work across industry, community and academia will be highly desirable.
Mandatory: PhD in relevant field (including: school change, inclusion, school innovation, STEM, STEAM and/or educational leadership) and a recognised teaching qualification together with recent experience in the field. Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check. Please Note: The appointment level will be determined based on our experience level.
