The Conversation’s editorial internship program gives interns from member universities the opportunity to gain practical experience and actively contribute to our newsroom.
About the internship
Interns will spend most of their time researching story leads; fact-checking; doing picture research; sourcing new academic voices; and sub-editing. They work closely with section editors and are exposed to, and actively participate in, a range of editorial activities. Interns will also work with our Membership Manager and Community Project Manager.
If you have a particular interest in science communication or any of our other sections, please include this in your email.
As The Conversation Trust (UK) Limited is a charity, the internship is unpaid however will be paid £15.00 per day to cover lunch and travel expenses. Internships are located at The Conversation's newsroom in London.
Applications to the intern program are open only to students, or recent graduates, of our partner and member organisations.
