Director Campaigns and Organising

NTEU is transforming the way that we work, and we are looking for someone to provide strategic leadership to the Union as a whole and to actively lead our national Campaigns and Organising Team. This position will play a key role in planning, developing and implementing strategies for Union growth, member engagement, and campaigns across all levels of the Union.

The position is based in our South Melbourne office, is full-time, and will require extensive organising and campaigns experience, a strong commitment to trade unionism and high-level communication skills.

Salary will be in the range NTEU Level 8 ($119,768 - $130,817), depending on skills and experience, plus 17% employer superannuation. The terms and conditions for this position are covered by a comprehensive national collective agreement.

We are a progressive Union whose principal work is to advance the professional and industrial interests of members, and we also maintain active interests in public policy advocacy, Indigenous social justice, climate activism, as well as international higher education.
