Focusing on sociology of education, including Indigenous education you will create, establish and facilitate learning experiences and strategies to support inclusive and engaging student-centred learning environments. This will involve designing, developing and co-ordinating subject curriculum and assessment activities.
What you can bring
With a combination of a PhD in Education, a teaching qualification and eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers you’ll bring a track record of demonstrated successful teaching experience in school settings.
You will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs in the area of sociology of education and which may include Indigenous education, within the areas of early childhood, primary and/or secondary education.
As a team player, you have proven research outcomes and publications and are comfortable engaging with schools, community agencies and professional bodies. Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will ensure your success in this rewarding role. Experience in online or blended delivery modes and teaching in the higher education sector would also be highly regarded.
