About the project
The True All School program is one of Australia’s leading relationships and sexuality education programs and has been developed for the needs of Australian schools and families. The program is evidence informed and mapped to the national curriculum for Prep to Year 10. Year 11 & 12 programs were developed in line with the Queensland Curriculum & Assessment Authority (QCAA) senior syllabus. While informal evaluations of the All School program have been collected for some time, no formal evaluation has been conducted. This evaluation will enable True to examine the effectiveness of the All School program and its acceptability to stakeholder groups.
True’s All School relationships and sexuality education (RSE) program, is delivered in Queensland schools We are seeking a PhD candidate to design and implement an evaluation tool for True’s All School relationships and sexuality education (RSE) program, delivered in Queensland schools. The project will also involve research in the area of RSE in schools more broadly, to examine the perspectives of stakeholders such as students, parents, teachers and principals. This research will contribute to knowledge in the field and exemplify barriers and opportunities to effective RSE delivery from a range of perspectives.
