About the Role
The Faculty of Fine Arts and Music seeks to appoint two casual Admissions Officers to commence as soon as possible through to the end of 2019. This position plays a key role in assisting with admissions activity for the 2020 start-year intake, including application triage, scheduling and coordinating auditions, utilising admissions and scheduling software applications , communicating with applicants, and working closely with members of the Academic Programs team within the Academic Support Office and academic members of staff of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music.
You must demonstrate ability to take instructions, work independently, work effectively and be able to work in a team environment. Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills are vital. You must also have strong organisational skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Based in the beautiful Southbank Campus of The University of Melbourne, you will work nestled amongst Melbourne's major arts and cultural organisations and venues. You will have the convenience of great transport links to the rest of the city with the serenity of the Botanical Gardens close by.
