The Opportunity

In this newly created position, the Research Project Officer is a generalist, primarily providing outstanding administrative and research support to our highly successful Research Team in order to keep them moving towards the future and push research boundaries.

The Role

In this busy role, your time will be split between supporting key academic staff with their planning and research activities and providing support to the research team's operational needs. You will persistently explore and uncover the teams needs by being two steps ahead of them.

You will wear many hats in this role, including; supporting and driving projects, ensuring robust plans are in place to track the research budget and expenses, organise local conferences and events, drafting complex reports and coordinating all travel. You will also support the bids for several large contracts in critical research areas. Your contribution will drive alignment to research goals and have a positive impact to allow the team to focus on their outcomes.
