The Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences seeks to appoint a Lecturer into the Doctor of Optometry Program. The successful applicant is required to teach, develop, and coordinate subjects at graduate level, including preclinical and clinical teaching, and to supervise research students at MSc, MPhil and PhD levels. Teaching into undergraduate subjects within the Bachelor of Science, and online subjects for post-professional education, may also be required.
The successful applicant is expected to have an established research specialisation in an aspect of Optometry and Vision Sciences, and the potential to achieve a high level of research performance through refereed publications and by securing of research grants and/or other external funding. The appointee will also play a key role in the development and delivery of collaborative engagement programs in the Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences.
