About the role

The Injury Management Team Leader is a job-share role. The Injury Management Team Leader, leads a team of Return to Work and Case Managers to deliver injury management, return to work and workers compensation case management services within the University in a self-insured environment.

About you

  • The appointee will have: A relevant qualification with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and/or education/training.

  • Ability to lead a team of injury management and workers compensation professionals.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with injured workers, line managers and human resources professionals to deliver effective injury management and return to work services.

  • Demonstrated ability to consult and influence with stakeholders at different levels.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in relation to Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act

  • Proven ability to thrive in a changing and fast paced environment
