BGL’s research priorities are articulated through three research themes: The Future of Work in the Digital Age; Serious and Organised Crime Prevention and Governance for Policy and Social Justice. BGL hosts three successful research centres: the Australian Industrial Transformation Institute (AITI), the Centre for Crime Policy and Research and the Centre for United States and Asian Policy Studies, which conduct research and provide an effective base for our research students.

About the Position

This Teaching Specialist (Clinical/Practitioner) position, with its primary focus on teaching and teaching-related activities in Health Care Management, has an important role to play in the University’s achievement of its strategic plan, Making a Difference: The 2025 Agenda.

The Senior Lecturer in Health Care Management will provide leadership in delivering excellence in teaching and learning across the suite of Health Care Management topics and courses in the College of Business, Government and Law. The Senior Lecturer in Health Care Management will be responsible for making a significant and wide-ranging contribution to leadership in teaching and scholarship of teaching using innovations in teaching practices and technologies to deliver excellence in teaching. They will be expected to draw upon their significant and senior roles in clinical practice to develop industry partnerships for work integrated learning, deliver innovative placement models and provide contemporary and high quality placement education, both through clinical skills training, simulation and service provision. The Senior Lecturer in Health Care Management will also have a key leadership role in service to the College and/or University.

Please note: Pursuant to the Children’s Protection Act 1993 (SA) this position has been deemed prescribed. It is an inherent requirement of the position that the successful candidate maintains a current Child Related Employment Screening which is satisfactory to the University.

 Available on a continuing, full-time OR continuing, part-time basis

 Full-time Salary (Level C): $115,541 to $133,224 pa

 Plus 17% employer superannuation
