About the position
This position will teach into and coordinate designated subjects in the postgraduate programs in Art Therapy, to deliver an overall outstanding student experience. You will also be responsible for coordinating the clinical placement program of the Master of Art Therapy and provide leadership to the art therapy placement liaison team.
Additionally, as a Teaching and Research Academic, you will conduct and publish high quality and/or high impact research as well as contribute to writing up research findings for publications.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have completed a PhD in Art Therapy or a postgraduate qualification. You will eligible for professional registration with the Australian, New Zealand, and Asian Creative Arts Therapy Association and have a strong demonstrated background in art therapy. You will possess demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and curriculum development in a variety of modes, as well as have the ability to guide and mentor students for their educational success.
Additionally, as a Teaching and Research Academic, you will have a strong record of research publication and experience in preparing research proposals submitted to external funding bodies.
