About the role
The primary responsibility of the Executive Assistant is to provide high-level support to the Head of School, Agriculture and Food. The role provides a range of executive administrative support services to ensure the organisational needs of the School are met, from diary management, correspondence, to travel arrangements and acting as the first point of contact for stakeholders contacting the Head of School.
The Executive Assistant takes general direction from the Head of School and is required to have good understanding of administrative support functions. This role is required to work with initiative, maturity, discretion and teamwork.
The position is primarily located as the University of Melbourne's Parkville campus, however, as the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences is located over several metropolitan and regional campuses, staff may be required to travel to, or work from, other sites and campuses as required.
