The School Operations Officer will sit within the School of Mathematics and Statistics and will be responsible for providing a high-level of operational support to the School Executive, and the Manager, Strategy and Operations. The position will primarily support the implementation of strategic and business plans across the Executive portfolios i.e. undergraduate and graduate teaching, research and industry and operations. It will also support the development of policies, processes and systems that supports the governance framework and initiate, implement and monitor a range of short-term School specific continuous improvement projects. The School Operations Officer will lead a small team of professional staff to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of teaching and research support to academics. The appointee will have a degree with subsequent relevant experience in operations and expertise in administrative fields. You will demonstrate financial and/or accountancy skills and the ability to provide high-level advice to stakeholders.
