Senior Lecturer In Genetics (Insect Pest Control)

The School of BioSciences is seeking to appoint a Level C academic with expertise in the genetics of insect pest control. We are seeking to build upon the School's strengths in basic and applied research relevant to the control of insect pests in agriculture. The Senior Lecturer will join an internationally recognised group of academics, and make a significant contribution to the teaching, research and administration of the School.

The incumbent will initially report to the Head of School or a delegate from amongst senior academics in the School in the relevant field. The Senior Lecturer will be encouraged to collaborate in research within the School and the University, with researchers from other universities and with industry and government agencies.
