About the position
Teaching & Research Academic
Provide a significant level of leadership and industry experience. Lead and undertake innovative and high impact research and produce publications resulting from that research. You will prepare and deliver subject specific curriculum using teaching methods that engage and inspire students, whilst also contributing to the coordination of subjects and the management of physiotherapy courses.
The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in providing ongoing guidance, supervision and support to students. You will also have evidence of high quality research and a demonstrated ability to supervise or co-supervise research students. In addition, the ability to display leadership skills to mentor colleagues to design and develop the curriculum, utilising effective teaching methods, is paramount.
Teaching Focused Academic
You will be a leader of teaching excellence and have a siginificant influence on the learning experience and the career aspirations of students. In addition to developing curriculum and leading in teaching excellence, this rewarding role requires contribution to administrative functions of the discipline while undertaking scholarly work associated to the development of learning and teaching.
The successful candidate will possess competencies in teaching effectiveness, curriculum development and subject coordination and have the ability to guide and mentor students for their educational success. You will embrace innovation and positively influence student's learning capability.
