Research Training Program Domestic Scholarships – UniSA Business School The UniSA Business School is seeking scholarship applicants interested in studying a Masters by Research or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in an area of commerce, law, management or marketing. We are ranked in the top 1% worldwide1 and recognised for world-class research in business and management, applied economics, accounting, law, marketing and tourism2. A Research Training Program domestic (RTPd) scholarship at the UniSA Business School will support you to investigate, design and executive innovative research to address real-world business problems. You will create new knowledge under the guidance of renowned academics and highly experienced supervisors – experts who will mentor and guide you through your studies – and engage with industry, government and education providers to influence decision-making. Home to established expert research groups including the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science and Centre for Workplace Excellence, we are particularly interested in addressing research questions related to how brands grow, how individual choice affects society, leadership and organisational effectiveness, creating dynamic economies, developing global partnerships, informing practices in tourism and leisure, and business growth.

RTPd scholarships are fully-funded, and include a tax-free stipend and tuition fees across the duration of your studies. The total scholarship package is valued at $27,596 per annum (2019 stipend rate) over 2 years for Masters by Research candidates and 3 years for PhD candidates. Limited relocation expenses may be reimbursed and a thesis allowance is available.


This scholarship is open to Australian and NZ citizens, and permanent residents of Australia. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for a research degree program at the University of South Australia. Benefits and conditions will also apply to all scholarship recipients.
