Research Assistant In Biostatistics

We are seeking a high calibre research assistant in biostatistics with an interest in global and refugee health to assist in research within our Refugee Health Program. The primary focus of research will be 1) analysis and reporting against a Medicare data set examining rates of cervical cancer screening in overseas born women and 2) assistance with systematic reviews to inform refugee health policy and programs. Ideally the successful candidate will have a PhD or Masters degree in biostatistics and/or epidemiology, experience using Stata for statistical analyses (especially analyses of large datasets), and experience writing up the results of analyses for publication

This position reports to the Head of the Doherty Institute International and Immigrant Health group.
