We are currently looking for an Associate Lecturer to be responsible for biomolecular and human biology courses in the School, which may include the production of teaching materials, conducting tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, clinical or studio sessions, and student consultation, marking and assessment activities. The Associate Lecturer will undertake research in areas of expertise, including publication of scholarly work. Success in this role requires collaboration with the bioscience discipline team and external providers. This is a fixed term (up to three years), full time position based at the Nathan campus.
To be successful within this role, you will have a Honours degree or higher qualifications in the broad field of Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Clinical Sciences or a closely related field, or equivalent qualifications and/or professional experience. You will have demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in contributing to teaching at the tertiary education level. The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to conduct and publish quality research. You will be able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills and contribute to the positive culture and aspirations of the School and University.
Level A: $65,090 - $87,883 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $76,155 - $102,824 per annum.
