The opportunity

A range of positions exist across three levels: Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor. As an academic within the Griffith Law School, you will have an outstanding research profile, be highly committed to teaching excellence, and effectively supervise honours and postgraduate research student projects. Applications are particularly sought from academics with expertise in:

  • Law and technology
  • Public Law, including constitutional and administrative law
  • Private Law, including contracts, torts and corporate law
  • Canadian Law

These are continuing, full time positions based at either the Nathan or Gold Coast campus.

About you

As the successful candidate, you will have a PhD in a relevant discipline with demonstrated experience in teaching at tertiary level and an ability to publish high quality research. For candidates wishing to apply for the higher grades, you will be required to have a history of attracting research grant funding combined with the ability to lead and mentor junior staff in learning and teaching and/or research.

Salary range

Associate Professor, Level D: $136,454 - $150,331 per annum. Salary packing including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $159,652 - $175,888 per annum. Senior Lecturer, Level C: $113,326 - $130,675 per annum. Salary packing including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $132,593 - $152,891 per annum. Lecturer, Level B: $92,511 - $109,860 per annum. Salary packing including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $108,239 - $128,537 per annum.
