A unique opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to manage the commercial farm at Dookie for The University of Melbourne.

The Farm Manager is central to the management and accountability of the Dookie farm which is a regional location situated 30 minutes between Benalla and Shepparton, and two and half hours from Melbourne CBD.

The Farm Manager's responsibilities range across all farm resources, including the management of staff. The role is accountable for the running of the farming enterprise and the delivery of the strategic objectives of the Faculty and the Dookie Farm Strategic Plans including setting and managing to the farm budget, compliance with regulatory and UOM Policy and management of all aspects of the farming enterprise including sheep, dairy and broadacre cropping.

You must have experience in managing a large farming enterprise and have demonstrated strengths in the enterprises comprising the Dookie Farming operation.
