Research Assistant Drosophila Geneticist

We are seeking a research assistant to join an insect research laboratory in the school of BioSciences at the University of Melbourne. A primary role will be to support experiments seeking to bias Mendelian inheritance in experimental insect populations. Other roles will be to support lab operations such as ordering reagents, maintaining laboratory equipment and Drosophila stocks, and training research students in laboratory tasks including standard molecular biology techniques.
