About the team
The UWA Business School is one of the premier Business Schools in the Asia Pacific Region and has a reputation for international excellence in research, teaching and learning. The School is the only one in Western Australia with both AACSB and EQUIS accreditations.
The University continues to build on its reputation for excellence and has strategic strengths in both teaching and research in a number of areas in accounting and finance. Areas of research strength include:
- corporate finance, corporate governance, investments and market microstructure;
- capital markets, financial accounting, financial reporting, regulation and enforcement;
- management accounting, decision making, performance evaluation and auditing; and
- accounting education
At the UWA Business School, you will have access to an excellent dataset for financial markets as well as a state of the art trading room.
As an Associate Professor at level D, you will be PhD qualified and demonstrate a strong research track record displaying ability to publish in high quality academic journals, to obtain research funding and to have attained international recognition for their work; You will be able to supervise honours and postgraduate research students and display a commitment to high quality teaching including the development of curriculum and initiatives in effective learning.
