The Role and Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager for Academic Services, you will lead and manage academic administration activities within the College of Design and Social Context (DCS) for both higher education (HE) and vocational education (VE). The successful candidate will provide expert advice to the College Executive, program managers and schools. This will include interpretation and review of RMIT academic policies and procedures, ensuring compliance is maintained with government regulations and with legislation affecting international students. You will ensure high quality academic services are provided to the College and effectively liaise with stakeholders on complex and confidential matters
Skills & Experience Required
The successful candidate will have proven experience in providing leadership in academic administration and a high level of strategic support and stakeholder management within a large complex organisation. Important to this role will be your established track-record in the development and implementation of academic and student administration policies and procedures. We are seeking candidates with outstanding communication skills and proven ability to act as a mediator between a wide range of external and internal stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes for all parties. Your strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment will enable you to succeed in this role.
Mandatory: A relevant postgraduate tertiary qualification and extensive relevant experience in senior academic and student administration or the equivalent.
