The opportunity

This academic position is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of the Griffith Service Learning program. This includes assuring academic quality, developing robust partnerships both within and outside the University, designing and implementing appropriate learning and support mechanisms for students, and managing a diverse team of academic and professional staff. This is a continuing, full time position based at the Logan campus.

About you

You will have a record of excellence in the design and delivery of work integrated and service learning experiences and resources in higher education. A demonstrated capacity to think and respond strategically about work-integrated learning and service learning in the current Australian higher education environment is required. You will possess outstanding interpersonal, organisational and high level communication skills, including the ability to build relationships and achieve exceptional outcomes with partners within and external to the University. A PhD (or significant progress towards) in a relevant discipline with a demonstrated scholarly knowledge in an area related to service learning is essential.

Salary range

Lecturer Level B: $92,511 - $109,860 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $108,239 - $128,537 per annum. Lecturer Level C: $113,326 - $130,675 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $132,593 - $152,891 per annum.
