The La Trobe Rural Health School which is the largest rural health school in Australia and is based at all four regional campuses of the University. The School's Paramedicine Program serves to prepare graduates for the roles that paramedics will be expected to engage in both now and in the future.

About the positions

Teaching & Research Academic

This Level B teaching and research academic is expected to develop curriculum, teach and undertake research or other scholarly work relevant to the development of the discipline. You will contribute to the Universities desire to influence the way we enrich the experience of our students and engage with our partners and communities.

To be considered for this position, you will have completed a PhD or equivalent accreditation in a relevant discipline, as well as demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and curriculum development. You will also have evidence of high quality and/or high impact research and a demonstrated ability to supervise, or co-supervise students.

Teaching Focused Academic

A Level B teaching focused academic is expected to develop curriculum, coordinate subjects, and teach and support students as they learn. In addition, you will also support the administrative functions of the discipline, as well as undertake scholarly work relevant to the development of learning and teaching.

To be considered for this position, you will have completed a PhD or equivalent accreditation or experience in a relevant discipline, as well as demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and/or curriculum development. You will also have evidence of innovative initiatives undertaken in the last three years that have improved the student or client experience, as well as demonstrated an ability to engage with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
