Tutor (Learning And Teaching Academic Development)

The role will provide support to the Associate Dean (Academic) in the implementation of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music's Learning and Teaching Strategy. The Tutor will assist with the planning, development, coordination and delivery of a range of Learning and Teaching academic development initiatives. The successful applicant will be a committed educator, with the ability to assist in the preparation and delivery of workshops, seminars and online resources on general education topics, provide support in curriculum design, and contribute to the development of teaching excellence within and across disciplines in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music.

You will have a Masters degree in a relevant area of Education (PhD or near completion desirable) with demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning and teaching development in a higher education setting. Experience in curriculum design and development of educational resources, a proven track record of effective teaching and learning practices and high-level communication and organisational skills are required.

This is a part time (0.6 FTE), fixed term appointment for two years.
