Veterinary Nurse (Medicine)

The Small Animal Medicine Referral Service at the University of Melbourne Veterinary Hospital requires an advanced, self-motivated, professional nurse to join their specialised team to replace staff for up to 12 months.

The nursing team provides optimal standards of nursing care and administrative support to Small Animal Medicine patients and clients. Working within the multidisciplinary hospital, the nurses' duties incorporate all aspects of veterinary practice.

Applicants will be required to display professionalism, excellent customer service, and represent the Veterinary Hospital and Small Animal Medicine and Oncology service appropriately and effectively in interactions with the internal and external community. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of flexibility, enthusiasm, initiative and a willingness to learn new skills and take on new tasks. You should be self-motivated and have the capacity to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team on a flexible roster.
