An outstanding opportunity exists for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow seeking to build their career in the rapidly growing and exciting field of coral microbiology. The successful candidate will conduct research on the bio-engineering of prokaryote symbionts of corals with the aim to increase coral holobiont thermal tolerance, possibly via a probiotic treatment, or genetic engineering of maternally transmitted prokaryote symbionts.
