The Executive Director Advancement provides strategic and visionary leadership for all aspects of philanthropic and alumni activity across the University. This includes fostering a culture of philanthropy within the University, providing expert advice to the University’s senior leadership, and developing and coordinating the strategic framework within which the University’s advancement activities take place.
The Executive Director initiates and drives capital campaigns, major gift solicitation and fundraising projects and has significant input into the development and implementation of strategies that establish and foster lifelong professional and personal relationships with the University.
The Executive Director reports to the Vice-Chancellor and contributes strategically to the University as a member of the University Executive Team and other internal committees.
This position is ideally suited to a distinguished and innovative advancement professional with a track record of success in capital campaigns, experience in driving high performing teams and building a positive and collaborative culture. Inspiring and confident communication and relationship management skills are essential.
This is a full-time position for an initial period of five years based in Hobart.
