The Role

Support the delivery of research within the Additive Biomanufacturing of Clinical Tools program of the ARC Training Centre in Additive Biomanufacturing.

Your Responsibilities

The successful candidate will conduct applied research in Numerical Simulation of metallic structures for application into biomedical implants, focusing on life assessment of medical implants through design and manufacturing process optimisation.

Skills & Experience Required

You will have a demonstrated track record in the design, modelling, manufacture and analysis of components and be willing to apply this to metal based additive manufacturing. Your ability to experimentally realise and characterise fracture modes of metallic and composite structures will be essential to your success in the role.
