The Role and Your Responsibilities
The Selection and Admissions Officer will provide operational and administrative support to the Senior Coordinator, Admissions and Pathway. This role is responsible for the maintenance of selection and admission standards and pathway agreements and provides operational support in the VTAC data collection, maintenance of pre-selection kits and the College authoritative spreadsheet on programs. This position will work closely with the Manager to review and document processes and improvements related to selection, admissions and pathway agreements. This position will also provide support and advice to school and streamlined selection staff on DSC programs as required.
Skills & Experience Required
To be considered for this role it is essential you have an appropriate degree or postgraduate qualification and/or substantial experience as well as sound knowledge of the tertiary education environment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience and expertise in the provision of quality academic administration services, including sound knowledge of relevant university policies and procedures. Your high level oral, written and interpersonal skills will be key to your success in this role.
