The Education Quality & Support (EQS) team, situated with the Office of the Deputy Dean Education, provides support to Business School staff and students with a view to enhancing student learning and the student experience. It works closely with other sections of the Business School and UNSW to develop and implement best practice.

About the role

  • $90,399 – $97,838 plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading
  • Continuing, full-time (35 hours per week)

The Learning & Teaching Advisor will provide services that develop academic staff capability for quality teaching. A particular component of the role is to contribute to the development and implementation of a new, refined approach for assurance of learning (AOL) and to promote AOL as a means to ensure quality and continuous program improvement. In addition, the L&T Advisor will work to build and engage a Business School cohort of sessional staff, along with a suite of continuing professional development (CPD) activities and resources to support them.

About the successful applicant

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience identifying the need for and subsequently developing and delivering support programs, initiatives and resources.
  • High level written communication and interpersonal skills, including a service orientation and ‘client-customer’ focus.
  • A relevant postgraduate qualification and substantial relevant experience, including at least three years' experience in a tertiary environment, preferably a business school.
