The Deputy Vice Chancellor Education’s (DVCE) portfolio, leads the University’s academic programs and academic mission with respect to Learning and Teaching activities; academic policy development; implementation and the review and the maintenance of world class academic standards through robust course management, quality assurance, benchmarking and continuous improvement processes.

Under the general direction of the DVCE, the Director Student Management provides strategic leadership and sound business management for Murdoch University’s student management initiatives. This role will develop and implement strategy to attract, support, and retain students, as well as oversee the efficient provision of operational activities that enhance student experience.

The Director is accountable for ensuring that Murdoch University students receive an excellent service from a responsive and efficient student management team.

The ideal candidate for this position will have demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of a suite of integrated student or customer management services. Candidates should have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of common approaches, policies, programs and research relating to student or customer management support. As well as demonstrated commitment to excellence in service provision and dedication to continuous improvement of business process and service.
