The overarching role of Monash Rural Health (MRH) is to improve the health of rural and regional communities through targeted education, research, advocacy and community engagement, using resources in a focused, effective and efficient way. MRH meets this responsibility through the development and implementation of medical and health profession education programs, the development of new models of rural health services and targeted research that addresses priority health problems in rural populations. MRH has academic programs, research and professional support spanning the breadth of regional and rural Victoria, from Mildura to Orbost.

MRH Bendigo has approximately 100 medical students located in and around the Bendigo region and Mildura. Students in the program commit to undertaking the majority of their clinical training years in the North West region.
MRH is undertaking a number of new initiatives to provide regional leadership in developing innovative training solutions to address rural medical workforce recruitment and retention related to postgraduate specialist training.
The Northwest Regional Postgraduate Training Hub Manager is an exciting new position that will provide high level administrative support to the NWPT Hub, working with relevant education professionals and health service stakeholders.
As the Northwest Regional Postgraduate Training Hub Manager you will provide high quality administrative support to a team of senior clinical academics and support and implement the objectives of the program.
You will use your expertise in a range of highly developed skills including:
high level conceptual and analytical skills and the capacity to develop evidence-based strategies to achieve program outcomes demonstrated organisational and project management skills and the ability to develop, implement and maintain program and administrative processes to achieve project goals and agreed deadlines supervisory experience including demonstrated ability in leading and managing a team.
