The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has been engaging in world‑class research for over 130 years. Our premises are located in 'the Parkville Strip', Australia's premier health and biomedical precinct, that offers brilliant teaching facilities and research laboratories to our students and staff.
We are currently seeking a Research Fellow (Epidemiologist) to work on a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) funded Centre of Research Excellence in Frailty within the Centre for Medicine Use and Safety. The research will investigate medicine use and frailty in a range of settings. The successful candidate will be required to undertake data management and analyses, applying common epidemiological research methods.
To succeed in this challenging and rewarding position, the successful applicant should have excellent written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and analyse data, prepare reports, or draft scientific journal articles.
Our ideal candidate will hold a Master's or PhD (or equivalent) in epidemiology, public health or health-services research, or equivalent qualifications and research experience in one or more of these areas.
