The Opportunity

Monash Arts is one of the largest, most diverse and dynamic arts faculties in Australia, with particular strengths in the humanities, performing arts, languages and social sciences. The Arts Research and Business Development Office is responsible for supporting the Dean and Associate Dean Research and the broader arts research community in delivering the outcomes of the faculty’s research and business development strategy.

The Arts Research and Business Development Office is seeking a Senior Business and Engagement Officer to coordinate the provision of high-quality advice and support to researchers and the Arts Research and Business Development (ARBDO) management team in the areas of business development, research engagement opportunities and impact activities in support of the faculty’s strategy.

Reporting to the Partnerships and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for supporting successful grant capture, partnership and collaborative activities and capacity building in all areas of research engagement. Ensuring that professional staff and researchers have high quality support and materials to help them to engage with external partners including government, industry, and community and non-government agencies to gain the largest research impact is key to this role.

You will have a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience, or extensive experience of research administration.
